Biography
Founder of the Fòrum Gastronòmic in 1999, in Vic, the first gastronomy congress in Europe, which has been held in different cities in Catalonia and Galicia over the last 26 years. He is currently the Director of Content for the Gastronomic Forum Barcelona and the Galicia Gastronomic Forum. A driving force behind the first Cooking Collectives in Catalonia, he has organised, among others, the Concurs de Formatges Artesans del Pirineu (Pyrenean Artisan Cheese Competition), the Orígens fair (Olot) and Arrels (Menorca), as well as numerous initiatives related to cooking and culinary products. He has given classes and lectures, published books and articles on cooking, and collaborated with various media outlets. He participated in the II Congrés de Cuina Catalana (2nd Catalan Cuisine Congress) and advised Turisme de Catalunya for 12 years on the creation of gastronomic tourism products and the international promotion of Catalan cuisine. He recently collaborated on the Guía Augusta, a guide to Catalan cuisine restaurants.Sessions
