Marta Rombouts

Biography

Marta Rombouts is a sommelier and co-owner of Almarge, a restaurant she opened in Badalona in 2019 alongside chef Germán Franco. Before launching their own project, she spent more than five years working in the dining room at Alkimia, Jordi Vilà’s restaurant. At Almarge, she oversees front-of-house operations and the wine selection, with a particular focus on small producers and wines with a distinctive identity. In 2026, she receives the Premi Sala Gastronomic Forum Barcelona, recognising the talent of front-of-house professionals.
