This presentation will feature Go Zero Waste and La Peninsular, who will share their experience with PaaSiot, a smart reusable packaging system that combines technology, traceability and the circular economy to facilitate the return of containers and bring them back into circulation.
Through a pilot project developed in Barcelona, the session will explore the entire process: from the use of the container by the restaurant and the consumer to its return, collection, cleaning and subsequent reuse.
The session will examine the challenges involved in implementing reusable packaging systems in the restaurant industry, as well as the opportunities they offer to reduce single-use packaging, optimise resources and move towards more responsible consumption models.
