He has lived in various cities—Madrid, Barcelona, Buenos Aires—and currently resides in Paris. His long career in journalism has focused on three main topics: culture, gastronomy and science. The latter two have fuelled his extensive bibliography: some twenty books in Spanish and another half-dozen in French.
