Biography
An internationally known food and wine writer,
Andrews was the co-founder of Saveur magazine and is the author of nine books
on food, including “Catalan Cuisine,” which introduced the cooking of the
Països Catalans to English-speaking audiences almost 40 years ago, and “Ferran:
The Inside Story of elBulli and the Man Who Reinvented Food.” He was awarded the Creu de Sant
Jordi in 2012 "for valuable work for the recognition abroad of traditional
Catalan cuisine."
