Biography
Xènia Torras Martí is an agricultural technical engineer and the coordinator of the Esporus project, a non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting agroecology and agricultural culture. From the L’Era Association, she leads the Esporus local seed bank, where she works to conserve, revalue, and disseminate traditional agricultural varieties.She conducts workshops and tastings on seed conservation, actively participates in the Catalan Seed Network, and leads projects related to agricultural biodiversity. Her work combines research, education, and awareness-raising to ensure access to agricultural genetic heritage and to promote a more sustainable and locally rooted agriculture.Sessions
