Biography
Roberto Costagliola, born in Naples, built his career from Neapolitan culinary tradition to reach international gastronomic excellence. After a decade in the United States, he refined his craft as a baker and pizza master upon returning to his hometown. In 2014, he founded Il Maestro Restaurant and Pizzeria in Castellcir (Barcelona), where he established his signature culinary style.In 2024, together with his family, he opened Casa Maestro in Castellterçol — a project that embodies tradition, innovation, and Italian identity. Housed in a restored 1890 building, Casa Maestro represents the true spirit of Made in Italy, not only through its cuisine but also its architecture, design, and dining experience.
His philosophy centres on contemporary Italian cuisine that honours ingredients and heritage, where every dish reflects passion, precision, and authenticity.
