Raquel Llaberia

Biography

Lecturer at the Barcelona School of Design and Engineering (ELISAVA). Specialist in product design, innovation and materials research, with a career spanning the fields of product design, textiles, jewellery and food design. With almost ten years of teaching experience, she teaches subjects related to design project development, innovation and materials research. She has also directed numerous final degree projects in collaboration with companies, especially in the fields of food design, textile design, product design and jewellery. In addition to her academic work, she pursues her professional practice as a designer, with a special interest in craftsmanship and experimentation with materials. Her constant research into materials and their expressive possibilities is a source of inspiration and continuous expansion of her language as a designer.
